AN ANALYSIS INTO THE IMPACT OF STANDARDS ON THE OPERATION OF SLOVENIAN COMPANIES

5.4 Case studies of good practices and early development of standards

                       ETI
The company ETI is an excellent example of a Slovenian company that perceives
standardization as a competitive advantage rather than urgency. This company
is carefully engaged in the standardization process, both at the national and
international level. Participation in the development of new standards brings the
company a competitive advantage. The company finds the greatest benefits of
participation in standardization in that it is able to respond rapidly to new trends,
being itself one of those who, through participation in various TCs, contribute
to the shaping of new trends.

    process in the
     company ETI,
 which is carefully
   engaging in the

     development
              of new

  standards, both
   at the national
and international
 level. This gives
  to the company
     a competitive

        advantage.

tion, power electronics and semiconductors. ETI is also involved in the production of
technical ceramics, tools, as well as plastic devices and products.
