SIST should also pay more attention to updating the standards once translated.
The results from the questionnaire also show a similar picture. The companies
agree that translation of the terminology of standards is particularly important
(see Chart 6).

Companies, regardless of size, also attach great importance to timely
information on new regulations, and also to the possibility of practical training
for implementation of the standards prescribed by law. There are no
statistically significant differences in this respect.

In the last five years, the majority of Slovenian companies purchased one
to five standards (103 responses, N=248), with some of the companies,
in particular the larger ones, purchasing even more than fifty standards in the
last five years (13 responses, N=248), because the law imposed it. Additional
statistical treatment was not possible due to excessive deviations.
